Robert Wray is at a Haiti relief technology event at the NPR headquarters with 150 regional technology gurus. The purpose of the gathering is to use technology to make relief efforts more efficient. Some of the projects in progress have helped already in several areas:
Translation apps for mobile devices, Mapping, Long range wifi systems ~30 miles and coordination of relief efforts.
